Telangana Shakuntala\'s Death: Celebrities Tweets. Shakuntala, more aptly known as Telangana Shakuntala passed way in the midnight on Friday (Early on Saturday).
Hyderabad: Shakuntala, more aptly known as Telangana Shakuntala passed way in the midnight on Friday (Early on Saturday). She was 63 when she breathed her last and suffered a stroke at her residence near Kompalli in the outskirts of Hyderabad. She was rushed to Narayana Cardiac Centre but to no avail. The doctors over there declared that she was brought dead. She played the character artist role in many Telugu movies and was close to the audience as Telangana Shakuntala.
Her debut movie was Maa Bhoomi released in 1981. She became famous from the movie Gulabi. She brought a recognisation to Telanagna accent as far as movies were concerned. She acted in more than 70 movies.
