RTC bus fire at Mythrivanam causes traffic jam in Ameerpet

An RTC bus passing through the landmark Mythrivanam building in Ameerpet caught fire on Friday morning.

No casualties were reported in the incident. Soon as news spread, fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the blaze. The police suspect short circuit could be the reason behind the fire.

Following the incident the traffic was congested for a good two hours on the already busy road. It's a known fact that Ameerpet houses several students' hostels and computer institutes and is usually crowded with students through the day.
