Warangal: A poor patient, T Ammi (37), suffering from kidney failure has been asking for financial assistance from generous donors. She is now being supported by her son, T Hussein, a paper boy and her daughter Preeti, working as house maid.

Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Hussein said that they were only making a meagre earnings and they could not meet the medical expenses for dialyses. Dialysis needs to be performed for about 11 times in a month, it was being done eight times at MGM Hospital and the remaining were performed at private clinics, he told The Hans India.

He informed that his father Parashuramulu committed suicide a couple of years ago as he could not bear the burden of debt of Rs 1.50 lakh drawn from different sources to meet the medical expenses. ‘Besides, medical expenses we need to pay for our rented house at Prashanth Nagar in Kazipet’ he added.
