Make Janma Bhoomi success: Kalva

Kurnool: District In-Charge Minister and Minister for Information and Public Relations, Kalva Srinivas has said the State government is going to launch 5th phase of Janma Bhoomi-Maa Vooru programme from January 2 to January 11.

He reviewed a meeting with the district level officials at Collector office complex here on Sunday and asked the officials to make it a grand success. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister has said that the 5th phase of Janma Bhoomi is a unique one compared to previous ones. During Grama sabhas, the officials have to readout the action initiated by the government on the representations received from the complainants.

They have to organise Grama sabhas at every village. People should know the welfare schemes that were introduced by the State government. He further said, during the 5th phase of Janma Bhoomi 2,000 pensions would be sanctioned to every constituency.

In addition, another hundred pensions will be sanctioned based on the eligibility. Around Rs.230 crores of subsidy loans, SC Corporation loans of Rs.41.71 crores, Rs.47.54 subsidy loans of Minority Corporation, Rs 27 crores under NREGS, interest free loans of Rs.20 crores, Scholarships under Chandranna Bheema of Rs.24 crores and another Rs.4 crores through SC Corporation would be disbursed, he said.

Srinivasulu said, `We have resolved around 1.76 lakh complaints received from the people during last Janma Bhoomi. Officials have to maintain patience while dealing with people, he said.
