Visakhapatnam: The city committee of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) alleging that it was unfortunate to incorporate new rules by the State Bank of India (SBI) for its clerical recruitment, demanded the management to immediately roll back the new rules which dilute the spirit of unemployed.

City secretary V Krishna Rao said here on Tuesday that SBI has brought new rules in its recent notification that those candidates who availed the personal or education or home loans and facing police cases are ineligible for the bank clerical posts. He found fault with the management for incorporating new rules after issuing the notification.

Leaving thousands of youth, who owed to the bank and tightening the recruitment policy by diluting the spirit of unemployed is deplorable, he added. In case of education loan defaulters, action should be taken only after they are employed and making all those facing police cases ineligible, is also to cheat the youth.
