Visakhapatnam: To clear the extra passenger rush in the festive season, the railways decided to run AC special train service with special fare between Chennai and Visakhapatnam.

According to Divisional Commercial Manager P Ch Ramu Naidu, Train No. 06071 Chennai Egmore-Visakhapatnam AC special express with special fare will leave Chennai Egmore on January 13 (Friday) at 11.20 pm to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 3 pm.
In return direction, Train No. 06072 Visakhapatnam-Chennai Egmore AC special express with special fare will leave Visakhapatnam on January 15 (Sunday) at 2.35 pm to reach Chennai Egmore on the next day at 6 am.
These services will stop at Sulurpeta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Yelamanchili, Anakapalli and Duvvada in both the directions with a composition of eight AC two-tier and four AC three-tier coaches, Naidu added.
