Three days playlet competitions Tapaswi Cultural Arts organized at Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College. Total five contemporary social awareness play lets were portrayed during these five days.

The competitions were commenced with the play let “Swarganiki Nichenalu” presented by Aravinda Arts, Tadepalli. This playlet was written by Valluru Sivaprasad and directed by ‘Gangotri’ Sai. This playlet was bagged Best production, Best Actor, best villain and best stage craft awards.
The first day second play let “Manadesam Manakosam” presented by Abhudaya Kala Samithi, Tenali. Snigdha was the writer of the playlet and Kamaraju Mallikharjuna Rao was the director.
Gangotri, Pedakakani had presented the playlet “Dagdha Geetam” on second day of the parishad. This playlet was written by M Vidyadhar and directed by Naidu Gopi. Second Best Production was awarded to this playlet along with best director, best actress and best music awards too.
Best script award and Best supporting award has been awarded to “Oka Varalo Muudu Kattulu” which was written and directed by M Sanjeevi.
On the concluding day Sri Ganesh Art theaters, Guntur presented the drama “Anta mana manchike”. The writer and director Varikuti Sivaprasad also received the best comedian award in these competitions.
On first day of the parishad noted stage artiste and educationalist Dontala Prakash was felicitated by the organizers. Prakash acted in several stage plays for the last four decades. On second day the organizers chosen four service minded persons Dingisala Ratnakumari, Jamandlamudi Kumar Madhu, Pakki Jyothi and Paladugu Sreenivasa Rao for felicitation.
All these four persons are working in Sahita Vidya Resource as teachers organizing by Sarvasikshia Abhiyan, Krishna District. These four teachers render service to the mentally challenged children.
On the final day Edupulapati Yelleswara Rao (farmer), CS Gopinath Reddy (Army), Katuri Ravindra Trivikram (Air force), Yerramsetty Sri Ram Prasad (Navy) and Gaddam Achaiah (Soldier) were felicitated.
Suryadevara Jagannadha Rao, Nandiada Nani, Bayana Srinivasa Rao and others were organized the perishad. Madugula Ramakrishna conducted the three days parishad proceedings.
