The increasing usage of artificial intelligence, big data analysis, IoT, knowledge automation, etc. is throwing up important challenges to the management to analyze their knowledge maturity strength. The two-day summit started on Monday at HICC. The central theme of the summit is ‘Knowledge Management in all its Dimensions.’
Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, Chairman, Cyient Limited, mentioned that the velocity of change needs continuous focus to enable a structured growth for enterprises and enable them to use KM to its maximum benefit.
Traditionally in the organizations, the main source of knowledge came from its employees, but this is no more relevant today with the emergence and impacts of social media. He mentioned that as per Gartner’s forecast, 8.4 billion connected ‘things’ will be in use worldwide by 2017, and this will reach 20.4 billion by 2020.
