Free medical camp conducted for children

Andhra Hospitals, in association with Pratyusha Support Foundation organised a free medical camp for children to treat heart ailments. The camp has been organised on the eve of actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s birthday, the founder of Pratyusha Support.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief of Children Services Dr P V Rama Rao said that the programme was aimed at providing healthy living for children. About 100 children were diagnosed for preliminary tests of major diseases or disorders.

Child health awareness, emergency and treatment, first aid, preventive measures were discussed during the camp. Medicines were given away for free of cost to the children diagnosed under the camp, he said.
