Here is some jolly good news to all those boys and girls who are under 15 years of age. You are bound to be transported to a dynamically woven new world, where you get a chance to explore, unwind and get rejuvenated all in one go in a place that has come upon Sunday.

The magical space that is all of 18,000 sq ft and, aptly titled Plabo, is the brainchild of London educated Deepthi Raju, the founder-director, who belongs to the NCC family.

A walk around the spaciously illuminated well laid-out rooms gives the impression that it deservingly will enjoy an exalted status as a pioneer in bringing together a unique play, fun and interactive learning for kids where imagination, curiosity and creativity will get impetus.

According to Deepthi, “When I found that my two-year-old son could only get used to the mundane and selective activities that are on offer I hit upon this brainwave. I have actually been inspired by many such offerings (all are not under one roof, though) across the globe.

Being housed on the third floor of a commercial complex near the Gachibowli flyover, the place offers a good view of the surroundings. This comes as the perfect backdrop for the colourful (nothing is gaudy) ambience that is prevalent along the area that has been widely divided into Explorium and Playarium zones.

Deepthi says that there is a three-tier fee structure given the packages that are available, including hiring the space on an hourly basis. In fact, it is also allotted to those keen on hosting multi-dimensional interactive birthday parties.

Explorium, as the name denotes, is equipped with ultra-modern equipment (everything is customised) where the wonderstruck can actually explore and get to learn in a manner that will stay put for a long time to come. Imagination has no limits and neither are the opportunities to put them to practical tests.

Deepthi is eager to have tie-up with some educational institutions whereupon the students can be sent here to hone their learning skills amid a playful atmosphere.

Plabo was formally inaugurated by Gautam, the 14-year-old son of superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar. The actress stated that the uniquely innovative concept would be a big hit not only with students but their guardians as well.
