Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences will be super-specialty hospital says Laxma Reddy

The Health Minister warned that stringent action would be taken against the negligent doctors. Minister for Forests and Environment Jogu Ramanna and Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy were also present.
Adilabad: Health Minister C Laxma Reddy said special funds would be released for improving the facilities in hospitals in the State. Inaugurating an Intensive Care Unit at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in the town on Wednesday, he said that RIMS would be upgraded into a super-specialty hospital.
He also conducted review meeting with the health department officials on the outbreak of viral fevers and the steps to be taken to contain them. He directed them to take steps to prevent the spread of viral fevers in the Agency areas.

On Thursday, the Health Minister would tour the Agency areas which are in the grip of viral fevers. He will enquire from the patents about the medical help that they received.
