Warangal: Already in the eye of the storm for goofing up the results of the Ph D / M Phil entrance examination, the administration of Kakatiya University on Monday struck in yet another glaring botch up with some degree students raising discrepancies in the marksheets.

The alleged discrepancies rolled in the marksheets of several candidates who appeared in the annual examinations of degree early this year likely to cast their shadow on the admissions of several students aspiring for higher studies.

Vanaras Uha, B Sc (M) student, who failed in the first year Maths paper-I and sought revaluation of a subject secured 105 marks against the maximum marks of 100.

It may be noted here that 1.24 lakh students of Warangal, Adilabad and Khammam (undivided) districts appeared for the degree exams in the degree annual exams.

According to varsity results, only 25 per cent of them got through in the examination. While some of the candidates’ markssheets displayed ‘absent’, some others got zero mark in several subjects.
