A laborer's son, bus conductor's son are MLA candidates of Jana Sena Party

Hyderabad: With the launch of Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan has clarified that he believes in next-generation leadership, for which he assured to give the permanent role for youth in the coming elections. 

For the candidates' selection, the party has formed a screening committee and invited the applications from the aspiring candidates. By undergoing a written test, the screening committee has selected the MLA and MP candidates.

Introducing the new age politics, the Jana Sena Party has released the fifth list with 4 MP and 16 MLA candidates on Thursday. Interestingly, a young man Gowri Shankar has found his name in the list.

Gowri Shankar is the Janasena MLA candidate from Parvatipuram Assembly constituency in Vizianagaram district.

The Janasena through a tweet said that "Gowri Shankar who is a part of JanaSena Leadership Program is contesting as MLA from Parvatipuram, Vizianagaram district. His father Gongada Gumpaswamy is an agriculture labourer. Mother Appayyamma is a vegetable vendor."



The Janasena revolution 2019 doesn't stop. Here is another young leader Gedela Chaitanya, who is contesting as MLA candidate from Pathapatnam Assembly constituency in Srikakulam district.

Chaitanya is a son of a retired bus conductor and is also an activist who has worked along with Pawan Kalyan over Uddanam issue in the district.

But this both Janasainik's neither have money or powerful political background, but today they are the MLA candidates of Jana Sena Party.

By giving an MLA ticket to this both young leaders, Janasena want to prove that elections can be won without the need for money.

For now, we have to wait with the fingers crossed till the elections result on 23 May.
