1041 personas put in quarantine rooms in Srikakulam

Srikakulam district collector J Nivas addressing media on Wednesday evening in the wake of Corona virus scare and measures taken by the government.

Srikakulam: Total 1041 persons have been kept in quarantine rooms in Srikakulam district till 25 March said district collector J Nivas. In a press conference at Srikakulam on Wednesday, he explained that as per available information total 1625 persons returned to Srikakulam from various foreign countries from 6 March to till 24 March of them we have traced 1572 persons.

On suspicion about Corona, we put 1041 persons in quarantine rooms collector elaborated. People are allowed to go out for the purchase of essential goods, medicine and milk from 6 am to 1 pm. Later people movement restricted collector said. Vehicle movement completely stopped from 6 pm to next day 6 am during night hours.
