108 ambulance staff demand to increase vehicles

Amaravati: The 108 ambulance staff continued their strike on the second day, demanding to resolve their issues. The staff held protest by performing 'Palabhishekam' to the statues of late CM YSR in West Godavari district.

The 108 staff participated in dharnas conducted at Eluru, Bhimavaram, Tadepalligudem and other places in the district.

On the occasion, the protesting employees demanded to increase the number of 108 ambulances, as announced by the government, along with providing job security. They also demanded the government to fulfill the given promises.
