112 Rythu Bharosa Kendram centres set up in East Godavari
Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister Subhash Chandrabose said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has earmarked Rs 300 crore towards price stabilisation fund to protect the interests of farmers.
Pilli Subhash Chandrabose, MP Vanga Geeta and Collector D Muralidhar Reddy on Saturday launched Rythu Bharosa Kendram at Ganganapalli village.
Speaking on the occasion, Bose said that the government would help the farmers to get MSP for their produce and added agriculture departments, institutions, research centres and experts would guide farmers over agriculture practices.
He said village agriculture assistants, horticulture assistants, animal husbandry staff and fisheries development officers were available at all RBK centres and guide the farmers.
Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said the government has established 112 RBK centres in the district. Through the video-conference, the Collector explained to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding creation of 815 RBK centres in the government lands.
MP Vanga Geeta said that the Chief Minister has fulfilled 90 per cent of the promises given to the people. During Covid-19 crisis, aqua farmers were subjected to many difficulties and soon after the government learnt about it, immediately extended financial assistance to them. The farmers expressed their happiness for giving Rs 13,500 to each farmer under Rythu Bharosa scheme.
