1,500 tribals avail health camp in Vizianagaram
Pachipenta (Vizianagaram): The police on Wednesday organised a mega health camp at hilltop village Nandedu Valasa of Pachipenta mandal and distributed medicines at free of cost.
Apart from medicines, the police also distributed clothes and blankets to tribals. Around 1,500 tribals from Teerangi, Melia Kancheru and Rayupuvalasa villages availed the medical services.
SP B Rajakumari and OSD J Rammohana Rao also participated in the programme and received grievances from public. Later, the SP told the public to maintain personnel hygiene for good health and keep away from bad habits like consumption of liquor and tobacco products.
Locals appealed to SP to lay roads to reach their village. CI B Simhadrinaidu was present.
