190 students take part in Carroms Tournamentat at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School

The school management members and invitees try their skills at the carroms tournament held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School in Visakhapatnam on Saturday

Visakhapatnam: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School conducted an Inter-School Carroms Tournament in association with Carroms Association of Visakhapatnam on Saturday as an extension of its Sports Academy activities.

The tournament was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner of Police Central Crime A. Trinadh Rao. He advised the students to participate in sports and games as it will help them develop their physical and mental abilities.

Around 190 students from various schools across the city participated in the tournament. The participant schools are SFS, Gajuwaka, Sri Sarada Vidyamandir, Siva Sivani school, Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential school, NRI Indian Springs, ZP High School, Chandrampalem, Apple I E M School, Sri Krishna Vidya Mandir, among others.

Principal Shimpy Kumari addressed the gathering. School Correspondent T S R Prasad, school secretary D S Varma, teachers and parents were present at the event.
