2 die as vancollides with KSRTC bus

Tirupati: Two died and five others injured in a road mishap involving a Bolero van and KSRTC Volvo bus at Kothaindlu, near Kasipentla village in Chandragiri mandal on Thursday. The mishap occurred when the Bolero van crashed into the KSRTC bus leading to the death of the two in the van.

The deceased wereidentified as Syed Basha and Salman of Mulabagal town in Karnataka State and were returning with a group after participating in the Rottela Panduga (Bread Festival) in Nellore.

Chandragiri police, who reached the spot, with the help of the locals shifted the injured to SVRR Hospital in Tirupati. The condition of one of the injured was stated to be critical. A case has been registered.
