2 held, weapons seized during search opteration in Kandukur
Kandukur: The Kandukur police conducted a cordon and search in the town and seized motorcycles and weapons along with taking two persons into custody on suspicion, in the early morning on Friday.
The Kandukur DSP B Ravi Chandra, Town Circle Inspector of Police M Vijay Kumar and SIs from Ulavapadu, Ponnaluru, VV Palem, Pamuru, Lingasamudram, PC Palli, Kandukur town and rural police stations, 50 constables along with 25 special party policemen reached the Uppucheruvu and Boggula Colony of the Kandukur town at around 03.00 AM and conducted cordon and search for the suspected offenders and anti-social elements.
In the searches continued up to 06.40 AM, the police personnel seized 17 motorcycles and 3 auto rickshaws without valid documents, 10 deadly weapons and caught 2 suspect persons. They were shifted to the One Town police station and an inquiry is started.
