2 lakh worth red sanders logs seized, 3 held in Nellore

Nellore: apur Police arrested three persons who were transporting red sanders logs and seized 13 logs weighing 185.4 kg worth `2 lakh and a car from the accused. The arrested are identified as K Surya Narayana, T Babu and J Harikrishna.

Venkatagiri CI Sk Anwar Basha said that they had conducted raids on the areas and found that some people were transporting red sanders logs from the forest area. Police arrested the accused at Pothugaddavagu close to Rapur on Friday. Rapur SI Ch Koti Reddy and others were present.
