3 houses collapse in crackers explosion in Vizianagaram

Bobbili (Vizianagaram): Three houses collapsed after the firecrackers stored in a house exploded in early hours of Thursday at Bobbili town of Vizianagaram district. According to sources, G Srinivas, a resident of Devangula street, is manufacturing crackers which are being sold during local festivals.

The crackers exploded in the house, where they were stored, damaging the two adjacent houses also. In the incident, four motorcycles were also damaged. The houses of G Ramesh and G Satish were totally damaged and loss was put at Rs 6 lakh as per primary estimates. Police and fire staff rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
