30 B Tech first year students of MITS get scholarships

Madanapalle: Thirty B.Tech first year students of Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science, Madanapalle were selected for Central Government scholarships. The prestigious AICTE - Pragathi scholarship of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi announced INR. 30,000 as scholarship for each student, Principal Dr. C Yuvaraj said at a press meet on Sunday.

Pragati Scholarship is a government scholarship scheme implemented by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Under this scholarship scheme, a total of 4000 scholarships are disbursed every year among meritorious girl students for pursuing technical education in India.

An amount of INR 30,000 is given to the scholarship winners, he said. The money will be directly credited to the students' bank account. The college management, Principal Dr. C Yuvaraj, Student Welfare Officer Athar Sameena Khan, S Moulali, Suresh, HODs, Faculty and fellow students congratulated the scholarship holders.
