30 students of BVC selected for training in Amalapuram

Amalapuram: As many as 30 final year B Tech students of BVC Engineering College at Odalarevu of Konaseema were selected for training on `Start and Improve Your Business'.

The training is being given by International Labour Organization of Geneva, MSME and Central Institute of Tool Design. The College Principal, DSV Prasad and programme coordinator TV Janardhana Rao said that 10 colleges in the state were selected for the SIYB training programme and BVC was one among the colleges.

They said that the students would be taught on how to develop industrial skills along with their academics and build a constructive career in their future. They said that the start ups and innovations will help in the development of the country.

They said that if a student sets up an industry instead of joining in a company as an employee, he would be in position to provide more jobs to the youth. CITD in-charge for Skill Development Babu Rao and others were at present.
