36 new coronavirus cases reported in Andhra Pradesh taking the tally to 2100
Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: In the latest media health bulletin released by the government of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, as many as 36 new coronavirus cases have reported in the state taking the tally to 2100. Meanwhile, there are 32 other cases related to the migrants belonging to Maharashtra, Odisha and West Bengal and other states, which sums up to 68 new cases in the state. The total number of cases, including migrant cases with 105, the number of cases in the state stands, 2205.
However, going by the state statistics, out of 2100 total vases 1192 persons have got treated and discharged while 48 remained dead. The actives cases stand at 860.
Th state has conducted the 9,256 tests in the last 24 hours totalling to 2,10,462 tests in the state, which is the first state to do so. As per the bulleting, the new cases were reported in Nellore with 15 cases, Chittoor with 9, Guntur 5 and two each in Kadapa, Krishna and Srikakulam and one in West Godavari districts respectively.
Meanwhile, the number of people recovering from corona in the state is growing day by day. Statistics show that more than 50 per cent from 10 districts have improved from the corona. Currently, the average recovery rate for corona is only 32.9% in the country while stands 53.44% in our state.
