38 fresh coronavirus cases reported in Andhra Pradesh, tally climbs to 2,018

Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: The Andhra Pradesh state has reported 38 fresh COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours during which 7,409 samples were tested. The tally has reached 2,018 while the toll mounted to 45.

While 73 patients have recovered, leaving 975 active patients still under treatment on Monday. So far 998 patients have recovered and were discharged.

Of the fresh cases, Krishna district reported 3 cases and Chittoor reported 9, while Kurnool reported 9 six and Visakhapatnam reported three cases. Anantapur reported eight and Guntur reported five cases and Nellore 1 respectively.

In terms of percentage, 51% of the patients are under treatment and 44% have recovered. The fatality rate of the State stood at 2%. The state has so far conducted 1,81,144 tests in the state till Monday, which is the highest number across the country.
