48 new COVID-19 cases and one death reported in Andhra Pradesh, tally mounts to 2719

Coronavirus In Andhra Pradesh: The number of positive coronavirus cases has decreased over the past two days. In the last 24 hours, out of 8,148 samples were tested across the state as many as 48 appeared positive for coronavirus taking the tally to 2719. While 55 people have recovered from the virus and discharged and the number of active cases in the state stands at 759.

On the other hand, a total of 1903 people have been discharged from hospitals across the state so far and a total of 57 people died of coronary disease across the state. In the last 24 hours, one person has died due to COVID-19. The most recent cases of coronavirus are reported in Chittoor and Nellore districts and in some other districts are related to the Koyambedu market. There are also cases related go foreign evacuees.

The bulletin said that 4 of the new registered positive cases in the state were from Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) in Chittoor district. It was announced that there were 153 cumulative positive cases from other states (migrants). 111 people from abroad have been infected with the virus taking the total statewide cases accounted for 2983 cases. However, the new tension is haunting those who come from overseas and Koyambedu.
