50 new coronavirus cases, two deaths reported in Andhra Pradesh, takes tally to 3427
As many as 50 new coronavirus cases were reported as of 9:00 AM on Jun 5 in Andhra Pradesh taking the tally to 3427. According to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among the total people infected as on date, 2,294 have recovered and 73 have passed away with two new deaths reported in Krishna district.
On the other hand, 21 persons have been cured during the past 24 hours takes the cumulative to 1060. The total cases reported above are excluding the cases of migrant returnees and foreign returnees. The tally of foreign returnees stood at 123 with 119 active cases who are under treatment while four have been discharged.
On the other hand, migrant returnees cases' increased to 700 and 442 actives cases and 14 discharges today. The Andhra Pradesh government has set another record in the conduction of coronavirus tests. It ranks first in the country with over 4 lakh tests so far. Along with conducting tests, the government is also providing better health facilities to the people. The state has conducted 9831 tests in last 24 hours.
