6 died, 5 injured as van rams into lorry in West Godavari district

West Godavari: In a tragic incident, 6 died and 5 injured in a road accident near a petrol pump at Nallajerla in West Godavari district.

The accident happened when a van crashed into a stationary lorry near the petrol bunk. With the collision impact, six people died on the spot, and five others sustained severe injuries. The victims were rushed to Tadeepalligudem hospital for treatment.

According to police, the deceased include a wife and husband, three-year-old girl Tanuja, and an eight months old baby. On the incident, the police have registered a case and investigating further.
