6-year old boy choked to death after swallowing a pen cap in Ananatapur
In a tragic incident, a boy aged 6 has died after a pen cap stuck in the throat in Anantapur district. Going into details, Yashwanth (6) from Kutagulla village of Kadiri mandal in Anantapur is studying second grade at a private school near Garladhinne who went to school on Saturday was playing with a pen. Unfortunately, the pen cap stuck in the throat of a boy.
The School staff after noticing Yashwanth's difficulty in breathing rushed him to the local primary health center and later he was taken to Anantapur Government Hospital before he was declared dead. The family members who were disturbed with the incident wept at the hospital.
It is reported that the same incident happened in Nellore district where a student died after a pen cap stuck in the throat. However, it is advised that Parents and teachers to be more vigilant about students and children's activities at school and home.
