60 students take part in trekking expedition in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Kambalakonda trekking expedition was held on Sunday in association with the Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI) and Rotary Club of Visakhapatnam. The trekking expedition was exclusively organised for orphan students.

District Forest Officer Selvam flagged off the trekking expedition which saw a participation of 60 volunteers. The youngest participant was of six-year-old Sucharita and the oldest participant was a 72-year-old D Satyabuddhu.

YHAI Chairman N Nageswara Rao, president K Varma Raju, secretary Md Ibrahim, vice-presidents KV Raju, V Ravi Kumar, Rotary Club president G Ravi Kanth, among others took part in the expedition.
