Chittoor: 70,000 to each Muslim woman beneficiary in the pipeline

Chittoor: YSRCP legislator A Srinivasulu stated that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy made Amzath Basha as Deputy Chief Minister with a view to encourage the Muslim Minorities in the state. The government has proposed to sanction Rs.70,000 to each Muslim woman beneficiary during the year for strengthening their economical standards, he said. On the occasion of Bakrid festival, the MLA visited Muslim Minority Colony in city on Monday and interacted with the residents. He also took part in the prayers held at masjids in the city.

On the occasion, Srinivasulu said that it was the need of the hour for safe guarding the religious harmony for overall development and the government is committed for the welfare of the Muslim Minorities. Fee reimbursement to the students of Muslim Minorities would be a boon for them to become doctors and engineers, he said. He assured that he would take steps for facilitating tap connection to each house hold in the colony . He complimented that there was good response from the candidates of Muslim Minorities seeking the jobs as village volunteers . He said that he would instruct the Municipal Commissioner , Chittoor to sanction old age pension for all the eligible persons on priority basis. Rahim, Basha, Akthar and others leaders were present . The residents of the colony felicitated the MLA with religious customs.
