76 new Coronavirus cases detected in Andhra Pradesh in past 24 hours, tally moves to 3118
Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: The Andhra Pradesh State has reported 76 fresh COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours as 10,567 samples were tested taking the tally to 3118. According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department on Monday, two deaths were reported in Kurnool taking the toll to 64.
The tally that has gone up to 3,118 are excluding the cases of migrant returnees and foreign returnees. The tally of foreign returnees stood at 112 and all the patients are under treatment while migrant returnees cases' increased to 446 and 249 of them have recovered.
On the other hand, 34 persons have been cured during the past 24 hours and the total recoveries moved to 2,169 which is 65% of the total cases.
Currently, there are 885 active cases and among the local cases. So far the State has tested 6,850 samples per 1 million population which is highest in the country while the contact percentage remained at 0.95%.
