8 Police officers were promoted as non-cadre SP's in Andhra Pradesh

The government on Friday issued orders to eight additional SPs of the AP police to be promoted as non-cadre SPs. TV Nagaraju as Vijayawada traffic DCP, J Bhaskar Rao as ACB SP, K Bala Venkateswar Rao as Vijayawada intelligence SP are appointed.

SuryaChander Rao, who is currently working as task force SP is appointed as Vijayawada law and order additional DCP. The Home Department has issued a statewide compensation order for home guards who dies on duty from June 18, 2018, to July 16, 2019. Till now, 63 Home Guard households in 13 districts have received a sum of 3 crores 15 lakh.
