A woman tried to kill her husband by giving poison in Kurnool district

Kurnool: Just a week after the wedding, a newlywed bride who came to in-laws house has tried to kill her husband by giving poison to him on Monday. Going into details, Lingamaiah of Jonnagiri village in Tuggali Mandal of Kurnool district has got married to Nagamani a native of Madanantapuram a week ago. Though Nagamani was not willing for marriage, she was forced by her family members and married to Lingamaiah.

With the anger on her family members, she has given poison mixed milk to her husband. After drinking the milk, Lingamaiah becomes unconscious. where family members rushed him to Gooty's government hospital. On receiving the information, Gooty police registered a case, transferred it to Jonnagiri police station, and investigating further.
