The government has issued transfer orders to senior IPS officers in Andhra Pradesh. The 1985 batch IPS officer Abhay Tripathi is appointed as Principal Resident Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Bhawan while 1996 batch officer Bhavana Saxena was appointed as Resident Commissioner. Ashok Kumar of the 2006 batch has been appointed as the Joint Director of ACB.

Praveen Prakash, who was formerly AP Bhavan's resident commissioner, is now the special secretary of the CM's office. The appointment of Bhavana Saxena in his place is remarkable.

Recently, during the Brahmotsavam at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Delhi, there are allegations of 4 crores corruption TTD vigilance officers were sent to Delhi for interrogation.

Pravin Prakash, Resident Commissioner of AP Bhawan, who oversees the temple in Delhi, has objected to an inquiry by someone else. After the allegations, the deputy secretary-general said that he was investigating the officer, while the TTD had expressed dissatisfaction with sending the SI cadre officer to the inquiry. He also resigned as chairman of the Local Advisory Committee to protest the attitude of the TTD.

It was remarkable that Bhavana Saxena was appointed as the Resident Commissioner of AP Bhavan, which caused all the controversy at the time.
