ACB launches probe into illegal constructions in Vijayawada

ACB officials along with building inspector inspected the irregular constructions in Vijayawada. ACB ASP Maheshwara Raju said that an inquiry into the unauthorized permits was being carried out on the occasion. He said action would be taken against the owners of buildings constructed in contravention of the regulations.

The ACB said it would question the negligence of the Anisa Town Planning Authorities for sanctioning permission for illegal structures. They said that the improper construction was due to the negligence of the employees working in the department.

ACB officials said they would report the issue to the government on irregularities and negligence of building inspectors and linemen.
