Achanta: Minister Ch Sriranganadharaju directs officials to give priority to sanitation

Achanta: Minister for Housing Ch Sriranganadharaju warned the officials of action, if they failed to maintain good sanitation conditions.

Reviewing sanitation, the minister said the government was giving priority to sanitation as health was linked to sanitation. Referring to housing, the Minister directed the Tahsildar to acquire 15 acres of land necessary for beneficiaries of housing scheme from the village at the same place so that it could be developed into a model colony.

Stating that up to 40 families can get home in an acre of land, the minister said the government was determined to give houses to all the eligible.
