Acharya Nagarjuna University lifts the suspension on four students who participated in Amaravati protests
The management of Acharya Nagarjuna University has lifted the suspension of four students amid pressure from various sources. The students union and other association groups have staged a dharna at a campus in demand to lift the suspension of the students.
The TDP leaders have outraged over the suspension of the students and alleged the YSRCP government of suppressing the students' voice.
Four students from Acharya Nagarjuna University hostel in Guntur have been suspended for allegedly chanting Jai Amaravati slogans. Chief Warden Dr Ramachandran has issued orders to suspend students from the dormitory. Ashirvadam, Naveen, Raju and Edukondalu who are studying in journalism and English are given notices.
