Act responsibly, Minister Kurasala Kannababu tells govt employees

Kakinada: Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu has said employees should act responsibly and work with commitment to bring a good name to the State government.

The Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Union District Council meeting was held at Rangaraya Medical College Auditorium here on Sunday. Minister Kanna Babu participated as the chief guest on the occassion.

Addressing the gathering, he said that employees unions should respond to the problems of the staff without indulging in politics. "There are no job placements other than compassionate appointments in the last 10 years," he said. AP government would support the government employees.

District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that employees should be responsible for their duties and should implement effectively the government schemes to the beneficiaries.

Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Union general secretary GA Rao said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been fulfilling his promises given to the employees during his pada yatra.
