Vizianagaram: Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the district administration to be more responsible on public grievances being received during 'Spandana' programme. He stated that the government is giving top priority for health and education and it will develop the conditions in schools and hospitals in next few months.

Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed the district collectors and SPs through video conference on Tuesday and told them that they should strive to bring confidence among people that they need not pay any bribe for availing government services.

All the grievances should be addressed in stipulated time and take steps to distribute seeds, fertilisers to farmers in this kharif season. Collectors and other officials should take initiative for the supply of quality seeds and protect the farmers from furious seeds, he said.

``We are setting up laboratories in every constituency to test the quality of seeds. Quality of mid-day meals has to be maintained and collectors should look into the issue. Bills for the cooking agencies should be cleared on time. All the homeless people will get houses by Ugadi next year,'' the Chief Minister said. Dr M Harijawaharlal, Collector, B Rajakumari, SP and others participated in the video conference.
