Actor R Narayana Murthy says aye to Jagan's decision on English Medium
With the English medium row still continues in the Andhra Pradesh, yet another stalwart in two Telugu states cam in support to the introduction of English Medium in government-run schools. Film director, producer and actor R Narayana Murthy said that the students studying in the English Medium are IAS, IPS, engineers and doctors while the students from Telugu medium background are limited to fourth-grade jobs. The actor who unveiled the statue of Thandra Papparayudu, which was set up by the Velama welfare committee in Nadakaduru, Karapa Mandal on Sunday. From LKG to PG, everyone is given equal opportunity, and the future of the poor is good.
Amidst the hype of the public, he said his support would be to Jagan Mohan Reddy, for introducing English medium teaching in public schools. Narayana Murthy told that he was making films on the problems he had experienced and faced. Backward classes are falling behind, unable to read English. The same thing was recalled to be shown in the movie Erra Sainyam.
State Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Kurasala Kannababu said that Tandra was a man who symbolized war and fighting spirit. Narayanamurthy was a visionary who conveyed the essentials of the English Medium through the film Erra Sainyam, 20 years ago. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has been bringing English medium, to improve the future of the poor.
Minister Kannababu honoured actor Narayanamurthy on behalf of the Velaksam Samana Sangam. Community Representatives Pila Govindu, Potala Lovaprasad, Cheepurapalli Jayendrababu, Edla Ramasubrahmanyam and Former MPP Gullipalli Srinivasarao were also present. "Narayana Murthy remains in the hearts of the people through the movies," Narayanamurthy asserted.
