Ali has plans to develop city in Rajamahendravaram
Rajamahendravaram: Star comedian Ali has said that though he was in a good position in cinema industry, he can do his best for the development of the historical city as it is his native place and no one can forget native place.
Ali Friends Circle felicitated him in connection with the completion of 40 successful years in cinema field at Cherurukuri Kalyana Mandapam here on Sunday night.
Responding to his felicitation, he said his mother Jaitun Bibi's efforts to elevate to a good position cannot be forgotten. So far, he acted in 1,130 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages and now acting with noted Hindi hero Salman Khan, he said.
Recognition came through President Peramma picture which is first film.
Plans are afoot to construct a hospital with latest facilities and advanced medical equipment to serve the people freely.
In memory of his father Abdul Subhan, a non-governmental organisation is participating in many social service activities in the city for 12 years and the services will be expanded shortly, he said.
Later, he felicitated his mother Jaitun Bibi and his guru and noted playback singer Jit Mohan Mitra.
