Alla Nani responds over new coronavirus strain in Andhra, says, govt is vigilant, no need to panic

Coronavirus new strain is causing concern in India. Already many are coming from the UK and with the coronavirus positive diagnosis causing tension in everyone. The suspect of new coronavirus strain has also caused a stir in Rajahmundry during this period. Authorities were alerted when a woman from the UK tested positive for coronavirus. She and her family were immediately rushed to an isolation center. AP Health Minister Alla Nani responded to the matter. The minister said that whether the women Infected with new virus is being tested and urged people need not worry stating that government is taking all possible measures to prevent the corona second wave in the state.

Earlier in Thursday, the woman came to Rajahmundry in East Godavari district from the UK who tested positive for coronavirus. In this backdrop, Alla Nani responded and said that they have taken all measures to provide her with better medical care. "We spoke to the East Godavari District DMHO on the phone this morning and found out the details. A woman named Mary Winfred Ann from Delhi came from the UK. It was reported at the Delhi airport that she had tested corona positive," he said. He said that the victim has arrived in Rajahmundry on the AP Express from Delhi without being in isolation. There Mary and her son Ryan were found and rushed to Rajahmundry Government Hospital. Isolation rooms have been specially set up at Rajahmundry Government Hospital and we are collected her samples and sending them to the Pune Virology Lab for testing of new strain, " said Minister Alla Nani.

The AP medical health department said people should not be worried about the new type of coronavirus. The government is fully vigilant and is taking all precautions in advance and the people are advised to follow the rules and precautions. The health department made it clear that the AP government was fully vigilant in the case of the covid 19 second wave. The state medical health department said it had taken precautions in the AP in line with central government guidelines.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has reportedly directed the state government to focus on passenger traffic as covid 19 is expected to spread the new variant through passengers. AP officials said they are conducting RTPCR tests on those who came to the state from abroad in this context.
