Amalapuram: GVL demands poll process from beginning
Amalapuram: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha member and national official spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao has demanded the State Election Commission (SEC) to conduct the nomination process again in free and fair atmosphere relating to local body elections in the state.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, he said that the nomination process was completed amidst violence and in the guise of violence ruling party declared unanimous posts and now postponed the elections because of Coronavirus.
He asked the BJP leaders and cadre to conduct awareness programmes among the people on Corona which is the need of the hour. Now many people in foreign countries are offering namaskarams instead of shaking hands, he added.
BJP leaders M Ayyaji Vema, Y Dorababu, Nalla Pavan and others were present on the occasion.
