Amanchi's nephew accused of threatening home guard in Ongole

Ongole: The Epurupalem police received a complaint from a home guard working in the same police station against the nephew of Chirala former MLA and YSR Congress Party leader Amanchi Krishna Mohan alleging that he threatened to cut off his hands and legs.

According to the complaint Suriboyina Ravi Kumar Reddy, he received call from Amanchi Rajendra, son of Amanchi Swamulu, brother of the Krishna Mohan on Tuesday afternoon. The home guard said that Rajendra used filthy language against him and other police officials. He said that the YSRCP leader had threatened him of chopping his legs and hands. He complained to the station house officer that a few people were following him and pleaded for security to him and his family after investigating the case.

The audio clip submitted in a CD to the police contained a phone conversation in which a person identified himself as Amanchi Rajendra using objectionable language against the home guard and other police officials. He warned the home guard to mind his own business to live safe or he will chop off the latter's hands and legs.

The accused, Amanchi Rajendra, is not available for a comment even after multiple attempts by The Hans India to contact him. Epurupalem SI Vemula Sudhakar said that the complaint refers to non cognisable offence and they were forwarding it to the court for directions. He said that a case would be registered and investigated if the court orders them to do so.
