Amaravati: CID includes seven white cardholders names under Insider trading Charges
The CID officials who are investigating the irregularities in the land allocations in Amaravati has intensified its probe. CID, which registered a case against the white ration card holders earlier has now included seven more names in the list. Cases have been registered against Nagamani, Narasimha Rao, Anuradha, Kondala Rao, Bukhya Nagarani, Abdul and Jamedar with all evidence.
It is a known fact that the then TDP government has resorted to insider trading on the pretext of making Amaravati as the capital of the state. It is alleged that most of the TDP leaders have bought lands in the capital region upon knowing that it would be made the capital. The government is investigating the matter with the CID.
On the other hand, the CID wrote to Enforcement Directorate last week seeking the intervention in the land irregularities in Amaravati. However, it remains to be seen how many more names will CID include in the investigation.
