Amaravati IT Fest on March 30 in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The Amaravati IT Fest-2019 would be held at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium here on March 30.

Information Technology Association of Andhra Pradesh (ITAAP) will be organising on the one-day event and focus on the IT companies that have been successfully established in and around Amaravati.

The event is being organised to celebrate the success of these companies and to create an environment for all the IT employees in Amaravati to meet, greet and spend time with fellow professionals.

Events like music and dance with noted singers, dancers and music directors are added attraction.

Event Director S Srikrishna said that the event would also be an occasion to showcase the progress of these companies and a place for future employees to see for themselves, the ecosystem and to meet their potential employers.

Other purposes of the meeting are to increase awareness among potential IT employees and the people as well about the status of the IT industry in the area.

Apart from this, the festival will be showcasing the talents by local companies to the potential employees, he said and present opportunities for students to upgrade their skills in IT area using the IT training institutes.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for local developers to showcase the available infrastructure for IT companies, he said.

The fest also aims to bring together distinguished institutions, colleges, students and industry experts to share knowledge and identify future opportunities related to technology.

The event would be attended by more than 10,000 participants and will be an annual feature henceforth.
