During a meeting with the IT department, he suggested to develop IT infrastructure at these three cities, on Wednesday at his residence at Tadepalli.
While suggesting the concept cities, Jagna named the Columbia city in Indiana, USA and stated that we could see different styles of constructions. He asked the officials to make plans to develop these concept cities like that of that city.
The proposed cities to be developed as world class destinations, he observed.
For Information Technology and High End Technology, these three cities must emerge as destinations for industrialists, the Chief Minister stressed.
The CM said that the government will allocate lands at these three cities based on the business volume of the companies. Government will give permissions to the companies swiftly to establish their units here at the concept cities. Corruption free and transparent governance will be ensured for the industrialists, he assured.
Lands, water, electricity and other infrastructure to be provided to the industrialists at affordable and encourageable costs, Chief Minister explained. Through the skill development centres, the government will provide skilled human resources to the companies coming to the state, he added.
The previous government did not release the dues to the industrialists, to a tune of Rs 4,000 cr, but they publicised on the name of policy. Jagan criticised that now the TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has been talking about the industrial development.
On this occasion, Chief Minister revealed that the TCS is ready to establish their campus in Tirupati. He directed the officials to take necessary actions for establishment of their unit.
He also ordered to set up a centre for High End Skills in Tirupati. All the revolutionary innovations taking place in the world must be available to the students in that centre, he directed. He also asked officials to construct another building at the same place for the Start Up companies.
