Amaravati should be remained as capital: CPI leader Rama Krishna
CPI state secretary Rama Krishna aka RK said that it is not right for the government to create chaos when people of Andhra Pradesh are dreaming Amaravati as the capital. He urged the state government to ensure that capital to be in Amaravati. "If the government believes that corruption has taken place in the capital city, stringent action should be taken," RK said
The CPI has condemned the attack on opposition leader Chandrababu's convoy in Amaravati last week. The CPI leader found fault on minister Botsa Satyanarayana's comments comparing the capital Amaravati to the graveyard. However, the left leader supported the decentralization of the development proposed by govt.
He also said central government cooperation is needed in building the capital and demanded the state government to call for an all-party meeting on the issue. "Any misunderstandings in the capital should be addressed and sorted in a healthy atmosphere," Rama Krishna asserted.
